ghost
I am looking for a source for plastic beads in numerous colors. Don't want to go through the normal channels (barlow's, Jann's, etc) Would rather go direct to the source to get larger quantities and hopefully a discount. Does anyone know who makes plastic/glass colored beads?
Fatman
Any craft store that sells beads is fair game!!!!!!!! As well as craft catalouges. Check out beads at JoAnne's Fabric, Michaels etc. I see beads I buy them. Amazing what you can find when you're NOT looking. Try Ship Wreck Beads online Plastic Beads - Shipwreck Beads or look up beads online and see what you find Fatman Edited May 15, 2008 by Fatman
Spike-A-Pike
Just remember, not all beads are created equal. One thing I run into is finding beads with a large enough to thread .062 and .051 wire through them. I have been looking at Hagen's and the prices seem a little better than other sources. That said, there is a company in Stevens Point, WI called The Worth Company that may be the company your looking for.
kelly
Craft stores will have beads opened and thrown in a box in the back. Ask to buy that for a fair cheap price.
ghost
Jann's sells a kit of about 12 different colors and 2 sizes of each color for $8.99 but there is not enough beads in the kit to justify the cost. Already checked craft stores and did a internet search and not finding what I am looking for. The beads TJ's tackle sells is the closest I have found to what I want but I am looking for much larger numbers than just 500.
