I guess my question is how much (qty) do you have to buy to order direct? What about hooks besides jig hooks? I'm going to wing this next statement and say you probably aren't going to be able to buy direct, because you would cut out the middleman, and the middleman wouldn't be too happy if Eagle Claw is going to sell to you cheaper then to them. On the flip side like Do-It molds does, they will sell to you, but when you buy direct from Do-It, their mold prices are high. That's why we all go to Barlow's, Stamina etc.....Just my thoughts on this. You may have a different experience. Can't hurt to call them and inquire. Ogajiga Posted May 30, 2008 Report Share Posted May 30, 2008 Agree with "cadman" that both OEM reps Vickie at Eagle Claw & Harry at Mustad I communicated with years ago seemed hesitant to cut out Shorty's who I think is their major USA dealer. Both were vague as to OEM requirements and suggested even at 10,000 pieces per type/size I would be better off staying with Shorty's.
