Hey Delw

I talked to you yesterday about your new tube minnow molds. In all the other places I've read or heard about them, they've been dipped, painted, then dipped with another clearer coat. With these new molds wont you still have to dip them with the clear coat after you remove them and paint them?

yes and No

they will look just like a basstrix/bassproshop minnow with the same hollow cavity.

however you can paint them with paint and glue the eyes on them like they are or you can run one clear dip to protect the eyes and paint its up to you.

some guys are running water based paints on there baits and those guys would have to dip it if they want the paint to stay and not crack. the clear coat will esentually protect the paint job on this type of paint. on the bait paint lure craft and others sell its not ness.

the eyes also have a indentation in them so if you run them with out a final clear dip it will protect them better.

Del, When will these molds be made available to the paying public?

soon I hope...I have a few hundred dollars burning a hole in my pocket...I don't have enough hobbies to consume my time or money, learning to pour these baits should just about do it......
