Sanding and priming has never worked because it's almost impossible to get it from inbetween the scales, what ever the matte is composed of reacts to my primer and cracks and peels. Ive used alcohol before but its kind of a pain, It seams like if you get alcohol on the bill it gets brittle. Just wanted to know if there was a trick I didn't know of.
