KcDano
Find a major supplier in your area that handles large volumes of lexan and cuts to size. Explain what your doing with it, expressing that you don't need a whole sheet and by the way do you fish. I will trade a few baits for some of your large cut-offs. You will most likely strike a deal and get you lexan for virtually nothing.

KcDano
Should be polycarbonate if it is lexan, if not, probally plexiglass not as good as lexan
BobP
Lexan is the GE name brand for polycarbonate. You can order 1'x1' sheets of various thicknesses from mcmaster.com. They also carry G-10 and G-11 circuit board and almost any kind of wire you can think of. Decent prices, fast shipping and good service in my experience. Bass'n'Cast
well home depot sells the plastic in two thicknesses .223 and .092 which one is best? i assume these are pretty thick no?
reeves
You can also find it on ebay. There are some outfits that sell their drop-off pieces on there. If you don't see the thickness you want go to their on-line store and search there. Just another option for you.
Spike-A-Pike
Bass'n'Cast. Let's look at these sizes. 0.223 is close to .250 aka .25 or a 1/4 inch. 0.092 is equal to about 2 mm or based on a quarter inch as a comparison, would be around 3/32 of an inch. I think you'd be safe with .092 Edited June 14, 2008 by Spike-A-Pike
