ssnephew
Hello ALL, YES another newbie tackle maker here, I will eventually get some lures posted for some pointers!! But as I search and read over threads, I am finding that it seems to be a great Idea to create patterns so that you can duplicate the lure as needed.... Well I have played with a FREE program called google sketched up a little when it first came out, but now I am sitting here wondering if anyone has played with it for lure making?? This seems like it might be a great way to develop and share ideas with others.
.dsaavedra.
i downloaded that program a few months ago. its neat for planning out building a shed or deck or something, but i can not for the life of me figure out how to use it to design lures. i havent used it much and i am by no means skilled with the program, i have just played around with it. maybe a pro can come in and show us up. SmokeyJ
I use InkScape which is an open-source (free) vector graphics designer ala Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator. Works great for lure templates.
