Spike-A-Pike
KC that was tough to believe, then I watched @ full screen. I still don't know what kind of lure he was putting up there, but I'm impressed.

KcDano
Spike, I imagine he is using a casting plug.
Spike-A-Pike
I just wonder what kind of slug, eeeer, plug it was - maybe something like this one?
bladesandbaits
I hit a Jet Skier in the back with a 3/4 ounce Rattle Trap and he was moving about 50mph. Does that count? Blades
reeves
Blades, that is too cool. Was he ever seen again?
Spike-A-Pike
Blades - Did you land him or did he get off. With some practice, you might get a hook set action that works for moving targets.
KcDano
Perhaps with a little practice Blades could snag a carp in flight with a bass plug!
Spike-A-Pike
Man Dan - that would be a slick trick.
RipLip
I think he was throwing a heavy jig up at the skeet. I wonder how many of us are going to give that a try.
bladesandbaits
LOL, not to highjack this post but I got to tell the whole story quickly. I was paralell casting a stretch of bank one day and this ding-aling came hauling but down the lake. In the distance I thought--- nah--nah-no way--Sh$t this guy is gonna run wide open between me and the bank! It was less than a good cast from my boat to the bank, and this cat threaded the needle! While it spun me into a deminsion of pissed off I had never been in before-- I was thinking "I would love for this guy to come back and do that again". Well- a few minutes later my wish was granted. Here he comes again! I reached down and grabbed my rod rigged with a 3/4 ounce Rattle Trap and leter hum. It hit him dead center in the back and about the top of his collar on the Jacket LMAO and stuck. I swear to goodness I set the hook! Anyway to sum it up, about 30 minutes later he comes back with the DNR man. The DNR guy asked me a few questions and I reminded him of the 100 foot rule for moving water craft when another craft is idle. Then proceeded to tell him I was not capable of casting a lure 100 feet. He kind of laughed and took off. Blades
Lure--Prof
I hit a Jet Skier in the back with a 3/4 ounce Rattle Trap and he was moving about 50mph. Does that count?Blades You have my respect . What is the limit on jet skiers in Georgia? They've made them catch and release only in Kentucky:pissed: Dean
Richard Prager
If you go back to the video, there is a whole series of them made by Master Casters. Definitely worth looking at especially the one where the guy forgot his hat. Hey Blades, if you were using braid you probably could have yanked right off that thing!
