hazmail Posted July 27, 2008 Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 Make sure your brush is clean, it does not take much to block up the tip, especially if you are using cheap paints and low pressure. As the Yankee says, use the SEARCH function at the top of the page, enter 'paint splatter' and there should be heaps of solutions, but a lot depends on the paint type and quality and a clean brush- if it's water based paints, you are using, use some denatured alcohol to get any dried pint out, you may ahve to soak it for a while. pete Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Downriver Tackle Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 (edited) Generally caused by one or more of three problems. Paint too thick. Needs reduced. Tip clogged. Air pressure too low. Possibly evaporating too fast if it's solvent based and you're reducing with the wrong solvent.
