Travis
I wouldn't be too worried about selling at first. I figure when people come to you for baits then you are ready to sell. Work on consistency, color, etc... and before long you will be pouring baits with the least amount of effort and time. I would recommend just making whatever you are interested in at this point, whether it is plastics, hard baits, wire, lead, etc.... and find what you really like to do. outdooradvantage
What about small Crappie or Bluegill grubs? or maybe some Crappie jigs? Just an idea, in my area a lot of people use small plastic grubs for panfish. Hope this helps. Jeff...........
tylerd1994
yeah my dad made a alunimum mold with these crappie plastics that work well just need an injector to pour them
kelly
If I was to sell to pan fisherman. I would go with jigs and plastics. Like travis said just make what you like and take them out and catch fish. Peolpe notice and start to ask. Then you just tell them you make your own and you are the only place they can get this. Once one person starts to use it its like a family tree. Hay call this kid! I wish you luck and if you go to big talk to a tax guy.

Richard Prager
yeah my dad made a alunimum mold with these crappie plastics that work well just need an injector to pour them Well, you now have a mold that works. Why are you thinking you need an injector?
tylerd1994
because he made it only pourable with an injector
Richard Prager
Have him make you a couple that you can pour with a pyrex cup. With a little practice you'll be pouring great baits. It's alot safer than using an injector, which I'm sure your dad will appreciate. Also, don't be playing AC/DC:yay: (for safety)while pouring! Start practicing with those POP molds you have. If you fill the pyrex cup half way, you will have more control when you're pouring.
tylerd1994
ha ha ok hes makin me a straight worm now that i can pour
Richard Prager
See, there ya go! It just takes a little practice, just take your time and don't be afraid to ask questions. Find out what colors work best in your area, and write down your formulas as you develop them. Post a pic after you pour some. Good luck, have fun and practice safety measures (no rock or tv while pouring)
