tylerd1994
do you add floating additive to yours i dont know if i should
GB GONE
You can or you can just do a regular frog. The floating frog will not float the buzz bait blade. These work well when the fish seem to be missing your frog. With the buzz in front, they seem to get the trailing frog (or worm) every time... tylerd1994
how about just the frog bye itself does it float
GB GONE
If you add the float additive or use float plastic, they will float a 4/0 EWG just fine. Problem is, you lose the leg action with a frog that is made completely from float plastic. It is fairly rigid. I use a float belly on mine that will still float the hook fine. King Bait Co.
Jim's right the frog works better if they sink. I have that them sink to the bottom before and had a bass hit them when I was starting to reel it in. It has happened a few times. The legs won't get hardly any action if they sink.
