alsworms
I have yet to talk to anyone who has had success with this gun, including myself. Complete waste of time and money......if you ask me.
tylerd1994
i was just wondering if it was possible to use a hot glue gun to inject crappie jigs in a mold
dc1003
I bought the lure craft gun, and other than coming with the mold to make the plastic sticks with it was the same gun that I saw at big lots for $5. I tried to use it once, didnt turn out real well. Then I couldnt get the wooden push rod back out and ended up throwin the thing away. Others may have had better luck with it then me but I dont suggest waistin the money on it.
King Bait Co.
I got one from Graingers it is a better one than the one you can get at Lure Craft. It was also $10 cheaper. I haven't used it yet its still in the package. I would get one from the hobby store they are a lot cheaper and if it don't work your only out $5 to $ 10. FishAction
The lurecraft gun has a control in the electric cord to limit the wattage going to the gun. The heat control is just like a stove eye - too hot burns the plastic. Any glue gun will burn the plastic without some way to control the heat level. A quality gun, no cheap bargain ones, combined with an electrical control will make various dots, stripes, etc. It's all in the heat, pressure applied to the plastic and the tip.
