basspro159
I would like to pour some jigs for myself similar to the spotremover jighead but I cant seem to find anything close. I have seen other heads made by other companies that look the same. What are these guys using. I just want something besides a ballhead shakie jig, one that stands up. Any advice? Thanks. cadman
Below are some links to other stand up jigs you can make and buy the mold for. I don't know if this is what your looking for, but I have all of them, and they work fine, especially if you tip it with a leech or fathead minnow. Mags
The Do-it football shakey head mold in my opinion is a great design. The Spot Remover doesn't do what you think it does in the water, with the flat head. It is constantly over on its side. The football head stands the worm up a lot better. Not taking anything away from the spot remover, as it has caught a lot of fish, but after seeing both in the water I feel the football head probably does it better. I have also hated, and I said hated, the post on the Spot Remover for attaching the worm. I was constantly fiddling with it and super glue. The screwlock (which Buckeye now offers) does a much better job of holding the worm. Steve
