Downriver Tackle
Alright, you guys got me into wanting to paint some swimbaits to fish with. I'm not into the carving thing. Are there any unpainted plasic or balsa bodies you can recommend? I saw Jann's had some, but I wasn't too impressed with their other unpainted baits. Spike-A-Pike
You might want to check some of the suppliers listed in the TU Supplier's Directory http://www.tackleunderground.com/links/luremakers-directory-3/ You find most of the usual supplier sites like Stamina, Hagens's, stc., listed in one simple directory and that should save some time finding what you're looking for. Good luck.
dolf5
I've been gessoing/priming painted swimbaits that I find for a good price online. Tacklewarehouse is a good source.
mark poulson
I think dolf5 is right. Find a swimbait online that you like, and repaint it. The Sebile swimbaits look pretty interesting, if you can get past the garlic. )
