With 25 pound capacity it should handle your turning duties fine, and 2 rpm will get the job done also. My dryer has a rotissserie motor that turns my lures at 1 rpm, and handles Envirotex or Devcon 2-ton, paint, dicknites clear topcoat, etc fine, and I've heard of guys using up to 6 rpm's without problems.
