yankee jigger
Leaving for Lake of the Woods ontario in about 7 hours for my 2 boys first fishing trip to Canada.Bringing the wife too. Last time i was up there was 10 years ago for another fishing trip but i have to keep reminding myself it was really our honeymoon, complete with outhouse. This time,no out house so ive moved up in class and me and the wife will hit 10 years while we are up there. Got my t-shirts and T.U.hat from Jerry yesterday and ill be sure to proudly display the Tackle Underground colors while im in Canada. Y.J. Spike-A-Pike
The TU Caps and Shirts always seem to generate questions from fishermen and they sometimes look a tad confused when you try to explain that the site is about the "Fine Art of Custom Crafting Handmade Tackle." So, it ain't 'bout fishin', just hooks and such? No, there are forums that get pretty detailed about making hard baits, like crank baits, poppers and jerk baits. So, ya' all just sit around whittlin' wood to look like fish? No, there are other forums like making your wire baits, like spinners, buzz baits, and Musky in-line spinners. So, ya' whittle and you bend wire with all those shiny do-dads? No, there are other guys interested in nothing else but hand pouring custom plastic baits, like worms, tubes, chunks using different color recipes. And cookin??? But nothin' really 'bout fishin' - pitty that. If it was 'bout fishin' I'd have to check it out...
