outdooradvantage
I just checked out Zoom's site to see the color and looks like just red with 2 different size's of black flake. Try starting out with 10 drops red and a small and then medium black flake. Hope this helps .Jeff..............

JDBaits
Id try adding 1 drop of pumpkin seed to 1 drop of red or strawberry berry red per 1 oz of plastic. You might have to adjust the amount of drops but, the pumpkin seed seems to intensify the red some without taking away the transparency of your baits. Hope this gets you started in the right direction.

GB GONE
Many manufacturers make this color slightly different, just like other colors. Here is a good basic recipe to get you started. Cherry Seed 8oz plastic 1 drop black, 4 drops red (M-F) dash medium black flake Jim
pigdestroyer
Cherry Seed 8oz plastic 1 drop black, 4 drops red (M-F) dash medium black flake Jim What if you are using Dels colors? Is the dropper the same? For some reason I feel like I need to use about 2x the color that I read in the recipes to get the results I am looking for. I haven't tried this one, but from my experience so far, 5 drops for 8oz plastic would be way too light.
GB GONE
I use M-F colors. Not sure about Del's colors. This one is just a match to a bait I had from the old FLW Walmart brand cherryseed baits that a person wanted. These were fairly translucent. If you need it darker, just double up the recipe. I did try LC bright red and the color looks more of a pink-red than a cherry red. Good luck!! Jim

Richard Prager
This bait is 30 drops of Del's Red with 1/8 tsp. small black flake in 8 oz of plastic. Maybe add a drop of black. If you have, you might try the very large black flake which will bleed a little and darken it up.
pigdestroyer
Yeah. It needs black, or pumpkin seed. Looks like it needs to be darker. Almost on the orange in the photo. Where did you get that mold? It doesn't look like Dels frog?

bassn1
I made a recipe book copied from any posts relating to color, this goes back before the crash. This was one of the recipes but I don't know who the original poster was. Cherryseed 6 oz plastic 15 dr. strawberry (MF) lurecraft strawberry won't give you the same color as zooms ( I've tried) 2 dr. black (MF) L.C. will work but I haven't used it yet so you'll have to experiment with it. 7 dr. red (L.C.) .035 black glitter I also add some .015 red to mine
