Recommended Posts

What kind of mold??? Does it require wire inserts and do you have them??? What size hooks and do you have them??? Let me know

Fatman

It is a do-it mold. No inserts necessay. I haven't don't want to purchase until I find someone to help me. Hook size 6 or 8. I want to used them as wacky jig. They recomment eagle claw, but I prefer Gamakatsu. I don't know if they make a hook for this jig in that size. I am looking.

If thats a 1/32 mold it needs to be modified to use larger hooks than #6. By enlarging the hook eye slots and shank channels I got mine to fit up to #2 which is the smallest size made by Gamakatsu. The 1/16 size(modified) will better fit larger hooks and mine are customized to fit up to 2/0.

Edit: Also, both the Pro-101 1/32 and 1/16 molds need to have the pre-warming slot ridge ground off to fit larger hooks. So, before you purchase the mold be advised that it takes a fair amount of skilled mold modification before it can fit larger than specified hooks.

Are you willing to send/sell a few in the different sizes? I just want to get an idea of what I prefer before making any major purchases. PM me if you are interested.
