bassman843 Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 I pour out of a lee pot and when I pour a smoke color the first few pours come out pretty good then they start looking a light shade of green any suggestions on how to fix this. Delw Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 are you using Green glitter? if not you are more than likely burning your plastic and its turning. to fix this add heat stabilizer or turn your temp setting down. also in a lee pot you really need to stir the plastic quite often to keep the temp evenly distributed, as lee pots have a serious problem of keeping everything the same temp. MONKEYqpHUNTER Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 the best way to control a lee pot is adding a indicator light that is hooked to the heating coil .what this does for you is when the heating coils kick on the light comes on when the pot reaches temp and the coils cut off the light goes out. when used with a digital thermometer it is easy to control the lee pot.if any one needs any info on how to do this feel free to contact me shanescustombaits@yahoo.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
