WidowMaker
I am posting this partly in response to one of the topics concerning the use of salt in soft plastics. One individual commented they stored their salt in ice cream containers which worked to keep moisture out of the salt. Try putting some grains of rice in the salt containers. You can place them in a piece of plastic tubing and wrap the ends with some gauze to keep them in place. This will also work to control the moisture in boxes of hooks, swivells and split rings. Delw
we used to store lots of gun powder when we were shooting compitition skeet, we would have any where from 10-20 25lbs kegs at a time. (it was hard to come by in japan so we always stocked up) we ended up fixing our moisture problem with cutting corragated cardboard and putting it into the kegs of powder. this worked real well. It might help with the salt also. Delw
WidowMaker
I can believe it. Come to think of it i had some jigheads stored in an open container that had started to rust a little bit. I had some others poured from the same batch of hooks but were stored in smaller corrugated card board boxes and they never did develop any rust on them.
