The Dutchman
Any company out there make a mold for wacky jigheads using a Mustad Ultrapoint or Gammie worm hook?
cadman
What do you consider a wacky jig head style. Have any links. Are you referring to the spring in the mold that holds the tip of the worm? Those are shakey style, but some I've heard use the term wacky. Just trying to get an idea to point you in the right direction.
pigdestroyer
You can see what people consider a wacky jighead here: JACKALL LURES Short-shank, wide-gap hook with a very light weight. The weight is more for action than sinking.
Basseducer
Duthman, I have been able to come really close the that particular jig with a D0-It SRH-6G-SLA Matzuo 9014 #1 Sickle bend hook Sevenstrand 60# uncoated wire leader material for a weedguard. Tou substitute the leader for the screw-loc. You may have to make a little grove at the back of the screw-loc cavity. Makes a really nice 1/8 oz jig. The Dutchman
I will try to post a pic. I have never done it before. The hook I am referring to is a Mustad Ultrapoint worm hook - with the bend to hold a worm on. It is also EWG. The 1/16th or 1/8 ball head is where the bend is in the worm hook.
