QiKsilver
To build a jointed bait with this exact shape and size? It is showing as a 10" on my screen... Your screen resolution may change the size it appears... I am really full of good intentions but I want to hear your opinion if this project is impossible or not... How many sections would you split this in? 4?
philB
Of course it is possible. You already have the template by way of the photo. Rest is up to you.

carpholeo
If I was gonna make this bait, this is where I would make my joints
pikeman
this is funny , it is the exact photo that I've used for drawing a Pike template (carved details included ) in Adobe Photoshop , also I've build some 3-4" baits and they work great, but never thought to do a swimbait after it . For sure it will work
lockjaw
Funny, the first lure I built was a pike swimbait too Instead of getting my feet wet, I decided to jump right into the deep end. It actually came out great and it swam - bonus! So, yes it's possible.
rofish
If you use the printing foil technique, may I suggest a slight modification?
StoneCoal Tackle
By all means go for it! I'm with Carpholeo on the joint location and Rofish is right on with the color enhancement. Good luck with it and keep us posted. Carve on, daymon

Snax
I have also made a pike swimbait that swam really well. Here's how it turned out... By the way, hats off to Lockjaw for his spectacular pike swimbait. It rocks!!!
