D.J.
X2 X 3 Doug's scents are top notch, and so is his service. His coffee/ shad scent tough to beat. Edited September 8, 2008 by D.J.
bassman843
how are dougs scents compared to lure crafts and do you guys add scents into your plastic when you are pouring or when you bag it
D.J.
I have tried just about every kind of scent available over the years, and I used to use lurecraft scents before I was introduced to Upper Hand scents.(Doug's) I cook them into the plastic. I also add a bunch of drops in the bags of my own personal baits. The coffee/ shad scent and the Hawg sauce are my two favorites. Give them a try, you will not be dissappointed. bassman843
I just ordered a 6 pack sampler I didn't order any coffee scent not sure about it just yet
D.J.
I wasn't either until I decided to mix coffee grounds in with my plastic. I was just using the coffee, with no color. It made a nice light brown, kind of cinnamon color. I used this for my lizards and the smallmouth just ate it up. I didn't really like dealing with the coffee grounds, so when Doug came out with the coffee/ shad scent I decided to try it. It is flat out awesome stuff. Don't be afraid to try it because the fish love the stuff, especially the smallmouth.
RipLip
I agree completely. Upper Hand Scents are great. The coffee/Shad is killer.
bhorlings
How much scent are you putting in per batch when you're cooking in? I am having a hard time with anything other than anise burning out. I may not be putting enough in though. If you could let me know the batch size and amount of scent that would be great. Just to get me pointed in the right direction.
daveh
hey bhorling, i sent out those droppers to you yeaterday. i use one dropper full of anise and the same with dels garlic with 1/2 cup. you won`t burn out dels garlic. its really concentrated. i like my own personal baits strong so i do 2 droppers full. then add to the finished baits.
