shadetreepainter
Has any one used the Seal-Coat from COMPONENT SYSTEMS, Inc.? It sprays well and looks pretty good. Not as heavy as epoxy. Haven't fished with a topcoated lure, yet. How durable is it????
foulpole18
I have some walleye crankbaits that I dipped in it. So far they seem to hold up to walleyes, smallmouth bass and a couple northerns.

foulpole18
I let some sit 3-4 hours before redipping them and others I waited until the next day. I cant remember which ones I did what to but I have used all of them and havent had any problems yet. As far as createx paint wrinkling, you need to heat set the paint. I steal the wifes hair dryer when she is gone at work and do my painting. I had 2 baits wrinkle and that when I started heat setting the paint and the problem was solved. RiverMan
I would not recommend it....I tried it and had problems with it eventualy. It goes on very thin but even after 3 coats it can easily be damaged allowing water to reach the paint underneath. Jed V.
