CL Rods
Has any one tried Extreme Power 30 minute epoxy the Hobby Lobby sells? Looks crystal clear versus a lot of time D2T looks a little yellowed. Any one know how durable it is?
mark poulson
I think that, if it doesn't say "contains UV inhibiters", it will yellow. Most manuf. have a website or tech. line you can contact to ask this question.
CL Rods
Well I couldn't stand it so I went ahead and got some. I have coated the bait and it applied very much like D2T as you might expect since it is a 30 minute epoxy. I does appear to be slightly clearer than D2T but I can't find out who is packaging it for the craft stores. I'd have to say it doesn't have UV inhibitors in it for that reason. I'd like to know which products are readily available that do have the UV but don't alter the color characteristics like the swim baits recently posted. mark poulson
It's only been a month, but, so far, the lures I've coated with the UV inhibited Nu Lustre 55 haven't yellowed, and I've fished them a lot, and left them on the deck in the sun.
