jigman2
Well I would have asked this long ago but my laptop wouldnot let me log on the enternet , it seems there is a switch on the side that disabled the wireless function, I kept on pressing Fn+F2 nothing seemed to work. Then I found the switch...who would of guessed. Any way does anyone out there have any special colors they would care to share with me for the Arkansas River (Russelville) area other than what I already know or use. a pm would be treated with the the utmost secrecy:lockit: Thanks Jigman2 Edited September 30, 2008 by jigman2 spelling
alsworms
Well I can tell you that I had quite a few customers who often fished the Ark. River, and their favorites seemed to be shad colors (preferably Tennessee Shad) and anything with white in it. Hope this helps.
One Sock
silver pearl and strangely enough arkansas shiner, my smoked crappie color sells well in that area(arkansas) also. it's a silver pearl with silver flake and black string flake, mixed in with a little 62 black flake
bassrecord
For Big Piney and Illinois Bayou, use Lemon Yellow for topwater lures. Lemon yellow poppers work great WAY back under those big overhanging trees, and work along the submerged fences and stump rows on Lake Nimrod. Oh yeah, goggle-eye love it too! Good Luck! jigman2
Thanks for the input, We had a great time and what a beautiful place. Didn't like the muddy water but managed to catch fish, had I been able to get them in the boat on the last day would have been going to the Nationals in November. There's always next year. jigman2:lolhuh:
