MTfishingrods
A couple people have asked to see the article with my son and his pike in it and our local paper does not post to the internet so I scanned it in and this is the best i could do. Hopefully the picture is clear enough to see that half the tail is missing from a fight with something bigger that we are still after. But needless to say Alex is hooked for life. I was laying in bed last week and I overheard him talking to his mom saying it was the most fun summer he has ever had. With the health problems I have had over the last 5 years and having to face up to having to leave a job that I loved at the age of 33, and go on disability this summer was a huge accomplishment for us both. Spike-A-Pike
Hey Montana, That is a nice fish and the entire family has every right to be proud of Alex. The tail does make you stop and ask, "Wonder what did that?" Alex could very well be the angler that catches him next year. The fact that he got it on a lure combination of his own design and construction, has got to add to that sense of pride. As one of the guys who asked to see the article, Thank You!!!
