If you can't find someone to help you out look for a fly fishing tackle store close by. I tie a few flies now a then and you can get rabbit and a few other types of fur from them. jigman2 Posted October 15, 2008 Report Share Posted October 15, 2008 Living in TX. I am alwayse finding fresh road kill and frequently stop and take coon, squirell, rabbit, and deer furs and tails. I will also dye some of these to the colors I want. I am only suguesting this if your inclined and have the time. What kind of rabbit hair/fur do you need that a fly shop cannot provide? Is it some kind of special fur you need? Or are you looking to buy normal brown bunny hair at a volume discount?
