One Sock
Bob's frogs are very good easy to pour and run great if rigged properly, too many times people use the wrong hook on frogs and it causes them to flip and track wrong on the retrieve, best to use a hitchiker when rigging frogs
bigfruits
thanks for the replies. i actually ordered bob's frog a few days ago. what hooks do you recommend for it? excuse my ignorance, but what is a hitchhiker? thanks -z
Richard Prager
Mustad 5/0 91768BLN and add a stainless steel hitchhiker both are available from Fishing Lure Making Products, Soft Plastics, Lead Molds, Hooks and more! - LureCraft ]
Bogbaits
correct me if Im wrong but Lurecraft only carries copper hitchikers,go to barlows and get the better stainless coils, there a bit stronger and wont pull in stronger harder plastic. Richard Prager
You're right Prochallenger. You have to order the SS hikers from Barlow's. You are definitely better off with the ss than the copper ones.
Long Lake Lures
Lurecraft now has the SS hitchhikers. Dave
