ApexPredator
I want to get a bottom pouring pot to replace my current Lee pot that I use with a ladle. What pot would you recommend and why. I will be using it to pour everything from large pyramid sinkers, large egg sinkers, large bank sinkers, and jigs of all shapes and sizes. Thank you. cadman
I have three of the lee pots, and I love everyone of them. I pour a lot of lead. My original pot is going on 10 years, and no problems. They all will leak some lead, so don't panick it's the nature of the beast. The only thing that this pot is limited to pour is spinnerbaits with the extended wire. I can even pour those if I want to, but for spinnerbaits, I choose to use the Palmer Hot Pot. You will be happy with the Lee, and they have an excellent warranty, even after 8years, they do a fairly in expensive swap. JMO. This is the Lee Pot. ApexPredator
Does the 20 pound capacity bottom pouring pot have any advantages over the 10 pound capacity bottom pouring pot other than the obvious 10 pound extra lead that it will hold? Fatman
Like Cad I have 2 of the Lee Production Pots and love them. The only difference in the two is 10 pounds of lead. If you're gonna be casting large jigs and 1/2 to 1 ounce sinkers all the time get the big one. You know what your needs are better than us.
