the-bass-catcher
I have seen the metal lips in most suppliers' catalogs, but I've never come across a lip made out of the strong metal like a mudbug or an old bomber. I was looking at the new Bass Pro Shops catalog and on p. 229 they have new Daiwa crankbaits that have this type of lip (they say its titanium, and i don't really buy that!). Any ideas on where to get this type of lip? I was thinking those would go great on custom carved bass cranks, but I haven't seen any custom tackle put them to use... Coley
The old bomber lip was made from .020" Brass. I have made several for myself. Coley
out2llunge
I sometimes use BIG stainless lips, but they're made for muskie not bass. If you want to see them, try moore's lures or luremaking.com
