Bassn81
I have a box of crankbaits. (mostly smaller bass cranks) that got rusted in my boat. I need help with hook and split ring size to replace all of these hooks. Anyone know what size would go on a Bandit 200?
Palmetto Balsa
The factory hooks on mine looked like #6 triple grip hooks. Most any premium #6 hook will work fine. Triple grip hooks are good for keeping a fish from throwing the bait when jumping, but if the fish are not eating the bait I find that they will not hook near as many fish out side of the mouth like a good hook should. BobP
I think the hooks are #6 and the split rings #1. If you have a bunch of rusted baits, #6 and #4 trebles and #1 and #2 split rings will take care of 90% of your needs. A pair of split ring pliers wouldn't hurt either!
