Introduction

Recommended Posts

Greetings everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been visiting this great site for some time, and wanted to thank everyone for your willingness to share and give insight on what has become an extremely fulfilling hobby for me. I've really only been painting hardbaits since April 2008, but used the forum prior to that to help with purchasing equipment, paints, topcoats, and, of course, to learn some techniques. I have to say, I have seen some absolutely mind blowing work here (man you folks are talented)! I don't have any where near the level of experience that most of you have, but I hope that some day I can share some of the lessons I have learned along the way. I really look forward to participating here! I've attached a couple photos of some repaints I have done, none of which could have been possible without all of the great info here. Thanks again everyone.

Jeff

Thanks guys. I learn something new and try something new every time I try and paint some baits. Right now I'm at a 3:1 ratio; 3 bad baits for every good one...lol. I've got a good list going of what not to do (eg, don't leave your freshly painted baits unattended or your 4-year-old may end up using them as "boats" in the bathtub).
