MagicBob
I melted some old Lunker City Sluggos and repoured, and the result seemed really soft and spungy. How can I firm it up?
alsworms
Try melting your baits, then adding hardener. Since you're remelting plastics, I would start with 1 part hardener to 4 parts plastic. You can buy liquid hardener at Lure Craft. I would also recommend getting a little heat stabilizer. Just a 1/2 ounce will keep 1 gallon of plastic from burning. Chris
Mercury
The only thing I know that will make plastic harder is the hardner itself. You can get it at LureCraft, Also adding salt into the plastic will firm it up too. As well as speed up the fall of your bait. Jeff
