balsa butcher Posted November 27, 2008 Report Share Posted November 27, 2008 eBay is probably the easiest place to buy it. Be careful, I have gotten burned on there. Some guys dye a different color and sell it as brown. I have found that you can still use dry living rubber as long as it is not cracked and deteriorated. I have used Blakemores' Reel Magic on it with great success. Spray it on and rub it in and let it sit for a while. Straight silicone spray can probably used but I have not tried it. You just have to be more careful when separating the strands as you usually can't stretch it as far, but the Reel Magic will definately help the strands separate so much better.
