SIUBASSER
Hey guys I have been on the site for a while now, and this is my first post. I really have to say that both the hard bait and soft bait guys know more than i could have ever imagined. I have been making wood swimbaits for a few months now, but i have a really good idea for a soft plastic bait. Because at this point i just want to make a prototype i don't to buy like 55 gallons of plastic. I was wondering if i can reheat old baits and pour the plastic. If yes, can i heat it in the microwave like the other plastics. Thanks Richard
Bogbaits
Many members will tell you that reheating old baits especially store bought baits doesnt work that well,Thats what I have read, never did it myself,I always remelted my own pours,You may contact any of the plastic dealers and if you pay shipping they will send you a sample quart of plastic,if you are doing a proto you would want some good plastic to melt, good luck! Basseducer
You can also try the plastic runners that one of our members (carolinamike) sells. Cheap and they work pretty good. Here is a link. Plastic Runners

Piscivorous Pike
I have only remelted plastics for years. Recently I used new plastic for the first time. Recently too, I did well remelting zoom. All of this was done by remelting that brand: TU taught me this, its long, pics too.
