CHAMPION-206
Hi I was just curious to see if anybody else has been getting really horribly wrinkled rubber from living rubber? Over the last month all 4 pounds I purchased from them was unuseable,I finally spoke with Paul there and he said "there was nothing wrong with it and thats the best they had. I cant even find a piece longer than 3" without major twists and wrinkles. I was very amazed at what they considered there best rubber. Basseducer
Champion, That is discouraging to hear. I have not purchased in several months, but all my stuff was fine. Maybe you can post a pic. I am getting ready to reorder and I may have to find another source. Thanks
Mr B
I had the exact same problem a while back. Even the rubber on the big rolls came off all wrinkled. I tried cutting it into long 8 foot strips and hung it over a coat hanger for a month and it did practically nothing. I have not tried an iron with cloth on top of the rubber but that would take days for all the rubber I use.
MTfishingrods
Has anyone tried dropping in boiling water for a bit and then hanging over something flat to dry? I have not had the problem but that is what I would try with a small section first.
