longhorn
Just watched the re-run of Fred Roumbanis walking the Bobby's Perfect Frog. Anyone know and care to share what modifications to the frog are done to make it walk. No frog walks like that right out of the box. I've tried cutting one leg shorter..this helps but it doesn't walk like his does.
MarcDavidBaits
I've had the same problem and have tried many different ways but can never get to walk like other topwater lures either.
captsully18
Not sure about this, but I think he adds just a little more weight toward the rear. Would be nice to know as I would also like to have a frog that walks like that. David
braveviper
How about bending one of the hooks out a little and trimming one of the legs?
Zbass
I had read somewhere that you add a little weight towards the rear and trim both legs back to about an inch and a half. Have not tried it but seems to me that it was Rojas in the article.
Jigman123
I trim one of the legs about 1" shorter than the other side. I also add a heavy duty split ring to the front and it walks great now.
