bhorlings
I just recently started infusing plastic with scent while I pour and I was just curious how much scent everyone might be putting in their plastic when they pour it and at what point do you put it in? Have you noticed if it affects the softness of the worms?
daveh
i put it in after i cook the plastic. i use an i dropper full per 1/2 cup then i add a half eye dropper in the bag of baits. never noticed any ill effects. i also read on here that garlic may turn white and off color. i manly use pure anise oil. my customers love it and so do i. Basseducer
Brian, I put in 2 -3 teaspoons of scent in 64 ounces of plastic when I cook. When I'm ready to bag I put the baits into an old tupperware container and put in a few drops of scent, close the lid and shake it up. This coats them completely and makes them easier to bag. You might have to re-apply a few drops in the bag after they sit for a week or two.
bhorlings
I use anise while cooking and hawg sauce while bagging. I was putting in a 1/2 teaspoon per half cup but that did not seem to cut it for me. I am to teaspoon now. I just wanted to know whether I was still on low side or high. I too use the Tupperware method when bagging.
