The Dude
I had an idea to use both salted and unsalted plastic on the same bait to get a weighted effect. For example, on a worm, if I poured about two inches of salted plastic for the head, and then poured the rest of the worm with unsalted plastic. Would it have a head weighted effect? Has anyone tried this? I kind of "borrowed" the concept from the Tru-Tungsten worms, but with the lack of tungsten to use, I thought maybe the salted method might work. Vodkaman
When I used to fish with real worms, I injected air in the tail with a hypodermic needle. Maybe this would work with plastics. Could be worth a try. Dave
GB GONE
It will work as you described dude. Sometimes it happens by accident when a salted bait is poured in a 2 piece mold and an air bubble is trapped on one end. I have used bb's as well to get the same head weighted effect. Now I just use nails.... Jim
davemyway
i have been makeing a plastic worm that has a air pocket in the tail . it is really easy to do with the 2 piece mold that i use . and it works great but i made these worms alot like a zoom swamp crawler just a straight worm . that may be why it is so easy for me to get the air pocket in the tail.
