We see these type of posts every now and then here on TU. Nothing against you friend but how about completing your profile so we know what state/country your "county road" is located.

Be nice to have a name associated with the post as well.

Forgive me for the skepticism but the previous scams will make everyone a bit hesitant to reply to your post. More info will garner you more interest in your proposal.

Scott, you mentioned during tough times ... Hey thats when some people have time to fish ... when I was in the retail B&T Biz I have had customers to come in and say "I will be out of work for a while so guess it will be a while before I see you" 99% of the time they went more then than when they were working .... Terminal tackle, Live Bait and lures (but more conservativly) sells the best during the "Belt Tightner" times.

Good Luck ... been there done that.

Scott,

I mite be interested ?? I am in Michigan and the weather is going to hold off your hand poured bait sales ( except ice fishing ) for you in Ohio a while .That will give you time to get the shop up & going. I would get a very large assortment of stuff. By that, I would only have a couple of each item, say,, 2 packs of each color , but a good asst. of colors.1st impressions are important.!! When the doors open and guys come in they want to see a good asst. With the something new,, that will help..

That way you can have a great variety with out having tons of money invested. Then as you figure out what your traffic wants, you can ajust inventory then, It will not be easy,, a lot of Wal marts & ebays out there. But it can be done.

good luck & keep us up to date on your progress.

:yay:
