Predator Bass Baits
Anyone figure out what paint is needed to paint soft plastics like a tail from a swimbait ? Or will any paint work as long as you dip the tail in clear plastiso ?

bassn1
I made my own with pvc pipe glue and Tempra powder paint. Thin it with asetone or MEK and shoot it with the airbrush. Drys real fast and makes a mess out of your airbrush.

bassn1
LOL, did it turn the soft plastic hard then as well ? No, I was just foolin' around and came up with it. It's hard to find Powder Tempra paint in fish catching colors. If you could find a fine powdered pigment, it should work OK.
