Thanks in advance. I've been using a single action airbrush, and now bought a double action. How hard is it to change needles? Do I have to worry about the trigger? With my single action, I just tear down, clean, and change when I start to detail.I'm just not real happy with the details. I think I can do a little better job. After lookimg at all of your lures, I need to get quite a bit better. My wife says the fish don't care, but I do Thanks everyone for the help, and the challenges. Doug

Changing the needles is very easy.. BUT, you must use caution. Yes the trigger can get in the way as you insert the needle back in. But with practice and caution you can do it quite easy. Make sure the trigger is seated properly first. You must also remember to not push it all the way in with a lot of force or you will jam it into the head. If you take your time and practice caution, you will do it very easily and your needles will last a long time! Hope that helps. Cody

You can change the needle, ( without removing the trigger ) in

a VL airbrush, and probably any other brand, by doing the

following:

1, remove the head assembly

2, loosen the needle locknut at the rear of brush

3, take the needle you are NOT going to install and push

it backwards into the locknut, pushing the needle in the

brush forward. Hold light pressure on the trigger and push

the needle out of the brush.

4, take the needle you are going to install and push the backend

into the front of the brush. Hold light pressure on the trigger

and push the needle in until the other needle falls out of the

backend of the brush.

5, replace head assembly an tighten locknut, your done.
