bear21211
Welcome Waterboy. No need for books or videos just do some searching on the forums and read all you can. Start Slow and like others said start with the baits you are using. Once you pour a bait and catch a fish on it , you will feel like you have become one of the chosen! Start with simple things and in small amounts like your plastic , color, glitter and molds . Do not go overboard and spend a bunch of money on something you do not know for sure you will like. You can always add more to it. This hobby can eat a hole in your wallet faster than you can blink an eye if you are not careful. Plenty reading and ask plenty questions the best in the business is here to assist you along the way.

SWO
As someone who has made both tubes and poured baits now, I reccommend you start with some tubes. I'm sure others had no trouble with pouring baits first, but tubes were easier for me. Contact Bojon for a tube kit to get you started. He doesn't push his kits very hard, but they are definitely worth the reasonable price. He will have you making high quality tubes in no time. I caught multiple 5 lb+ Lake Erie smallmouth bass on my Bojon inspired homemade tubes last season.
