jimcline
Sounds like to me that your trying to bake some lures that are too long to hang the normal way. Try turning the oven on one end and see if it still works. Mine does. If it does, try some magnetic based hooks to stick to the up end and hang your baits on them. That way you can remove them when your done and need to operate the oven normally. Good luck, JIM
GCD
Yes, there are some here that have their toaster ovens mounted upside down. I saw it mentioned in a painting thread I was reading yesterday. I'll see if I can find it again. Here it is. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/wire-baits/11957-jig-production-baking-powder-paint-jigs.html Edited January 5, 2009 by GCD had to do a search for the link

akriverrat
sweet! thanks guys ill give it a shot. i am kinda concerned because all the wiring is in the bottom of the oven and heat rises . i was just visulizing a metdown. most jigs i do are at least 4 inches long so got to get creative. might have to add a rack to the side too someday when i start doing bigger jigs for monster bottomdwellers in the salt!
