funny farm Posted April 23, 2003 Report Share Posted April 23, 2003 I was fishing for shad this weekend and didnt have any of the yellow grubs they were hitting and was the only one not catching any fishies but maybe one or two compaired to every one else catching one every 3 casts . So a guy came and handed me a grub and I cought a few and we started talking for a bit . I told him I made lures and he said he tied flies for fun but never fly fishes . We walked up the path and traded some of our goods . He said he has around 300 of these that he tied . He has no computer and just trades them to people for other fishing stuff . He had one he made on a 15/0 hook that was cool , but wouldnt trade it as he had made four and the other 3 went to his kids . I just think these are very cool . His name is Kato . It's obvious to me this fellow is not a guy who ties for fishing but I have to give the guy Kudos for his imagination & artistic talent.
