akriverrat
ok im really starting to itch for a airbrush. can airbrush paints withstand 350 degrees and be clear coated over? im thinking base color powder coat, airbrush design, then heat and dip in clear gloss powder and cure off. would i have to fully cure the base coat first before airbrushing? im also thinking high temp engine paint with stencils then clear powder over the top. GCD
I've started curing all of my powder paint base coats before applying another coat. It really cuts down on the dripping when heating for another coat or final curing! It also increases durability in my opinion. The high temp engine paint and clear coat sounds interesting! Let us know how it works for you.
Muskiefool
Its no problem Ive been doing it for awhile, but you'll have to epoxy the eyes in after they dont seem to like the oven..
