B and D Lures Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 I recently learned that the use of cab-o-sil will not allow glitter to sink in the pan and lure. Is this true? If so, How do I obtain such a product? Is it expensive? Is there a formula on the amount to use? I have been pouring soft plastics since 1997 and I thought I learned it all. Delw Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 you can buy it at a fiberglass or body shop, I believe its its chopped up fiberglass. it will make your baits stiffer. flour will do the same thing as well as salt. cab-o-sil will cloud your baits up.
