cgp
Who makes the best powder paint spray guns? I've been making spinnerbaits for a couple years and looking at new ways to paint them. thanks cg
smalljaw
The Badger hobby sand blaster, I use it to spray powder and it works well. One thing you must remember when spraying powder, I'm assuming you're not using an electrostatic system, is that unless you make yourself a small booth with some sort of a catch basin, you'll waste alot of powder, but it will make painting multiple colors easier plus with some practice you'll be able to add shading effects by blending colors. Good luck!

akriverrat
how do these things work? can you do pinstriping with them? spots? is the nozzle adjustable or is the stream basically a cloud?
Basseducer
unfortunately you can't do fine work with them. You can blend edges and if you do it right it might look like a stripe. I have not been able to do spots or scales, but you can do detail with liquid paint then clearcoat.
cgp
so you could use powder for base coat and maybe another ; then use air brush for other detail?
