Stamina Inc new website

Recommended Posts

Just thought some of you would like to know that www.staminainc.com just put up a new website that includes inventory on the web, so there willl be no more holding stuff waiting to fill your order, if it is not in stock it doesn't appear on the site. This should alleviate most of the problems people were complaining about with them as far as long ship times. I just got back from picking up my order and as always they were great to deal with and it was nice being able to see on the web what was in stock so I could switch on the fly with what I was ordering for spinnerbait blades. There phone ordering system is still being worked on so for now they just have website orders, but they did answer my email and even left me a telephone message last night telling me my order was ready to be picked up:yay: If you haven't ordered from them in awhile because of some of these problems you might wanna give her a try, free shipping with large orders really helps save some coin

I just checked out Stamina's website and I can almost say that I'm officially done with them as a supplier for one big reason...PRICE! Maybe I'm wrong here and I noticed that every supplier has had price increases which is understandable but Stamina's increase is outragious. I last ordered from them in July and I was waiting for the new site and what I've seen really disappointed me, oh well, at least there are a good number of other suppliers that are still reasonable.

They still have things that I like, however this past year, I was a bit disenchanted with them. I speak to quite a few guys there, and their service to willing to help people with questions has gone down. I hate to say it but I bought 13 lead molds, and they didn't get my business, because no-one there was willing to look into things for me. It seemed when I inquired about some things, it was a problem for them to give me answers. It's really sad, but I will still buy from them only what I need.

I would call it a site under construction... There were several areas without photos or text; but the format looks pretty good.

As for the pricing, tackle suppliers are in the same boat as the rest of us with prices changing without notice... Those increases are passed on. That's true of any tackle being sold, whether its Bill's Bait Shop, Wal-mart, or Bass Pro Shop, it's all a part of paying for the addiction of being a custom tackle maker.:twocents:

I sent them an email the other day with several concerns mostly identical to those expressed here. I feel the same way. The only reason I still order from them at all is they have just a few products I can't find anywhere else.

I'm eager to see what their response is to my polite but frank criticism. I'll let you know if they say anything worthwhile.

I spoke to a different guy today about a mold, and he was very courteous and helpful. However the person he reports to is the guy I had problems with. I was thinking about sending the owner a letter. I really liked working with the guys at Stamina, because they always helped me out, and it was a one on one type of arrangement. I don't know what happened. I will give you my feed back also.

Captain Rusty, who did you send the e-mail to? I don't know who the owner is.

I'm sure free shipping doesn't apply to phone orders, however that would be nice, and that would shift my purchases towards them. My orders are always $300.00 plus, since I always stock up on items to make sure I don't run out. I guess my feeling is this. In these times, I would think that companies would go a little out of there way to help keep their customers and to make them happy. I've always gone above and beyond with my customer service to help current and prospective customers. I have had some prospective customers, that have literally "wasted my time", and then they did not place orders. You know that is the way it is. I don't pour, paint and sell jigs to support my family it's extra gas money, and a great hobby to show off my stuff.
