Thanks in advance guys Attached Thumbnails
hazmail
rclark12 - I know there is a great photo of a harness for a swim bait in the gallery, and for the life of me can't remember who made it, and the bait, but it's worth looking at. I have searched to page 60 in the gallery, sorry but you will have to do the rest.pete
JBlaze
rclark12, nice looking swimbait. I to am trying to make my first swimbait so I have read everything on TU which has a reference to swimbaits or the making of. JRHopkins made the hinge Pete spoke of. I will try to find the link to it.
JBlaze
This should get you there. You might also want to look at Pete Hazmail's DNA Hinge. Due to its design, I think it will be the ultimate hinge for a swimbait especially small sized ones. Its not an easy one to figure out how to make. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/hard-baits/15548-controlling-pvc-action.html#post114565

captsully18
rclark12, I like the form of your bait. I would like to suggest that you consider using bicycle spokes for hing pins. These are stainless, and they are straight and maintain their form. David
rclark12
man those hinges in both links are nice, alot of work but no doubt better then screw eyes...i have been told to use bike spokes once before i think that is what i will use for the plastic model
